Local War on Terror

A good start

This is a space I would like to use as my part in the on-going global war against terror. While giant armies and teeny-tiny little bands radicals use violence and death to wage the conflict, I want to ask, what can we do at home, in our own communities to combat the scourge of terror.

Obviously, fear is not an option. In fact, being afraid is the best first way to allow victory for the terrorists. And who wants that? No, no, we need to wage this war with new weapons. I suggest cream pies.

That would show them.

What if, during one of his long, rambling death-to-America videos, Osama bin Laden was ambushed by a team of specially trained commandos who pelted him with cream pies. The cream filling would ooze down his face and he would be rendered speechless. The commandos would stand around, point and laugh. Even bin Laden would have to admit that it was funny; then he would start laughing. Then Osama would try to throw what was left of the pie clinging to his bear back at the commandos. The Delta Force would squeal and prance trying to avoid the crumbly remnants of their flaky attack.
